From May 2007 through November 2009, TKEN has:

Served 155 children and young adults

Provided children with 68 manual wheelchairs and 2 wheelchair frames

Provided 7 motorized wheelchairs

 Provided 25 strollers, 1 scooter & 3 car seats

Helped families by providing 23 adaptive positioning chairs of different types

Helped families with 25 other pieces of equipment including adaptive strollers,  walkers, quad canes,

            gait trainers and adaptive bicycles

Received 259 pieces of equipment through donations since January 2008

Assisted with co-pay for several adaptive strollers and manual wheelchairs

Provided a lift system to a child in need

Donated equipment to:

            Joni & Friends Wheels Across the World                 Alden Village

            Chicago Public Schools                                               Life’s Promise International

            Proviso Area Center for Exceptional Children

            Aero Special Education Co-op                                   Agape Family Life House

 “It should not be considered a luxury for a child to take a bath". If a family can’t get a bath seat for their child, we are there to help.
