At present, TKEN can only accomodate Children's needs in the Chicagoland area of Illinois.
The Kids Equipment Network is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that relies upon generous donors to provide valuable services to children with special needs. The organization operates on the efforts of volunteers without paid employees.
There are several ways to help the Kids. We hope that people can find it in their hearts to help us through one of the items below.
- Become a volunteer We have a year round need for people to assist in the day to day business of helping the kids.
- Monetary Donation The Kids Equipment Network gladly monetary donations to assist with the organization's operating fund. Funds will be used acquiring the necessary equipment, services, and resources to assist our families in obtaining the appropriate adaptive equipment for their children. Additionally, the fund covers operating expenses such as insurance, rent, communication services as well as a host of operating expenses.

All donors will receive a receipt for their donation and all donations are 100% tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. For Equipment donation deductions, please go to IRS.GOV and look up Form 8283 for noncash charitable contribution information.
In the spirit of volunteerism, ALL the funds TKEN collects go directly to support the kids and TKEN operating expenses.
